In Vitro Fertilization or more commonly known as IVF is a word that is quite common these days. There are quite a few steps involved in the IVF. Prior to going in for an IVF, you must understand and be aware of the IVF process and the risks involved in it. 1. You have around 3 months or more to prepare yourself:
First of all, for an IVF, this preparation period is ideal, as a follicle takes around 3 months or even more to mature. You must remember you need to create a fertile environment in your body in order to produce a good quality egg.
2. You have around 1-2 months to prepare for your IVF :

Secondly, make sure you consume the necessary vitamins recommended by your doctor such as high-quality prenatal supplements, which will improve the quality of eggs as well as the fertile environment of the body. We are aware that a follicle requires 3 months to mature, and ideally, the supplements should start 3 months before trying to conceive. However, since you have just 1-2 months to prepare yourself for the IVF process in India, the supplements can be taken for this duration as well.
Thirdly, during the preparation period of your IVF, your diet must consist of foods that will enhance your fertility such as eggs, nuts, fish. Foods like sprouts, flax seeds, oats, whole grains and goji berries also help in boosting fertility. Else, always eat fresh, organic and seasonal whole foods which are hormone-free.
3. You have around 2 weeks to prepare for your IVF Process in India:
First of all, make sure you and your partner sleep well, as both the quality and quantity of sleep affects the sex hormones as well as the production of sperm and ovulation. In order to achieve this, keep all electronics out of your bedroom, abstain from alcohol and coffee and indulge in outdoor exercises.
Secondly, you need to reduce stress. We understand that IVF can be quite stressful. In order to reduce stress, you need to slow down the pace of your lifestyle and remember to relax the mind and body.
4. You have just 1 day to prepare for your IVF Process in India:
Having just a day to prepare yourself for your IVF, can be really stressful. At this time, focus on deep breathing, as this helps in getting rid of the stress hormones immediately. Deep breathing is very helpful in relaxing and resting your mind and body which is very important before you go in for your IVF.
